Primary Skills
- Hardware Analog and Mixed signal design
- Microcontroller based multi-chip board development for oil & gas environment,
- Familiarity with board-to-board communication protocols like SPI, I2C, CAN
- Additional experience with FPGA based hardware design
- Experience with schematic & layout; schematics & PCB tools
- Hands on experience on design verification, testing & troubleshooting and failure analysis
Required Experience/Skills
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Expert user in Altium Designer or other similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Electronic Hardware design
- CAD tool expertise
- Expertise in Hardware redesign – Skilled value engineering, reverse engineering/re-engineering.
- Conduct system evaluations, investigate problems and make appropriate recommendations to modify designs as needed.
- Identify and recommend product functions improvements for the existing design at different stages to improve technical performance.
- Expertise in Hardware design PCB tools, Functional Safety, DFMEA, Circuit analysis, Simulation & EMI/EMC.
- Experience on all stages of Hardware Product Development Lifecycle.
- Experience in different microcontrollers, processors and FPGA based designs.
- Digital, Analog, Mixed Signal Design Experience for Oil & Gas products.
- Familiarity with different communication protocols interfaces.
- Component selection, design calculations and worst-case analysis
- Hands on experience on design verification, testing & troubleshooting and failure analysis
- Experience In hardware/product integration, testing, compliance support
- Experience in High-speed design like Ethernet, DDRx, SPI interfaces
- Product qualification / Compliances test experiences.
- Experience in Multi-layer PCB Layout design approach design reviews, SI knowledge.
- Exposure to design tools - ORCAD, Allegro / Mentor Graphics PADs
