Title: Automation and Controls Engineer
Location: Decatur, IL
Required Experience: At least 5 to 8 years relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and develop automation solutions for electromechanical systems and software.
- Lead project activities including planning, scheduling, and implementation of facility and equipment upgrades.
- Provide corrective maintenance support for PLCs, vision systems, SCADA, automated packaging lines, and utility systems.
- Work cross-functionally to improve equipment performance, automation, and data collection/reporting.
- Support Work Order and Calibration systems, including parts identification and ordering.
- Complete GMP documentation such as work orders and maintenance reports.
- Be available for multiple shifts, scheduled/unplanned overtime, and on-call response (cell phone/pager/radio).
